Description
Set in the heart of Llangollen, an amazing little town known worldwide for its annual Eisteddfod, this charming cottage lies just a short stroll from an abundance of interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. Llangollen is also home to the Llangollen Steam Railway as well as horse drawn barges and canal boats, affording wonderful journeys through the spectacular surrounding countryside. For the more adventurous, canoes can be hired on the River Dee, flowing through the town, and white water rafting is also popular as are climbing, walking, mountain biking and fishing, which are all enjoyed nearby.

Llangollen is a small town in Clwyd, Wales. It is located on the edge of the Berywn mountains, on the River Dee, and within a few miles of Chirk, Llanarmon Yn Ial, Nercwys, Maeshafn and Graigfechan and is one of around twenty towns or villages in Clwyd in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest official cities are Bangor (population 15,280), Cardiff (population 292,150), and Swansea (which has a population of 169,880 according to the 2001 Census).
As well as being a great place to stay to explore this part of Wales, including the nearby mountains, LLangollen is also noted for the heritage LLangollen Railway which runs steam trains in and out of the station in the centre of the town.
